The Third ManReviewer: Ruben Schönefeld
When I grew up, this was one of my father's favorite movies and while I didn't understand the appeal as a child, I now know more about post-war history. I also better understand what "film noir" means and this movie is a great example of the genre. I really like that this is a British movie, filmed in Vienna, Austria, with British, American, Italian, Austrian, and German actors. The movie's score is one of the most unique soundtracks ever, featuring the zither. So, in summary, this is not the kind of movies you will appreciate as a kid, but as a grown-up, this is one of the best.
