Is there actually snow in Australia? At the Hogle Zoo in Salt Lake CIty, even a kangaroo has to deal with snow.

Squirrel monkey right on the glass. The little hand prints on the right show that this little guy does this more often to get a closer look at the visitors.

Only about 40 Amur Leopards remain in the wild.

Magpies like in the zoo as well. Probably there's some food available for them.

Brigham Young and his mormons supposedly decided at this part of the valley how well-suited the location was to found a city. Directly at the Salt Lake. The monument is supposed to remind us of this.

Acara, daughter of Eli and Eve was born at Hogle Zoo May 7th 2005.

This peacock posed for me right in the sun. I could even walk up very close to it.

Peacocks walk on the whole area of the zoo.

We were right on time for the feeding of the pelicans.
