Fortuna Fountain Completed in 1884-85 by Wilhelm von Rümann, the Fortuna Fountain is based on a fountain at the royal palace La Granja de San Ildefonso in Spain. The ancient goddess Fortuna is depicted standing on the wheel of fortune. At her feet are the sea god Triton and the sea nymph Nereid. The rock formation in the centre is surrounded by six puttos riding on dolphins. Round the edge of the basin are mythological figures and putto groups.
